It’s primarily from very spicy food or drinking the night before.
I need my doctor to prescribe me something for my acid reflux, but in the meantime I am wondering what I can do now. Whether it be quick fixes, natural remedies, or over the counter medication.
I’ve tried drinking milk, pickle juice, and eating raw potatoes which all actually work fairly well.

I’ve had a sore throat for a month and i’m wondering if I could still have a sore throat caused by GERD, even if I am on nexium. I have no redness and the pain alternates from side to side on my throat.

Whenever I drink milk or eat yogurt or ice cream, I get a painful lump in my throat and esophagus that feels a bit like heartburn. It only happens when I drink milk. The lump hurts and I produce a lot of phlegm. Why does this happen and what can I do to stop it?

Over the past few months I have had occasional bouts of acid reflux which have been quite severe and lasting for hours starting late at night and keeping me up all night. Does anyone else suffer from this? Have you cut out certain foods from your diet to be rid it? If so which foods?

I was wondering because I don’t know if chocolate is bad for people with GERD because of its fat, or if it’s another component that causes reflux.
So can I drink skim milk with choclate flavour??

I need to get some easy, wholesome recipes to try out. I am 3 months pregnant, and have horrible heartburn and nausea.
My fiancee is allergic to chicken, and an enzyme in leafy green vegetables (weird, I know)… so I really need something healthy, not green, not chicken (or something I can add chicken on the side), and suitable for my 4 year old son.
Any foods specifically suitable for pregnant ladies would be great, or any websites… thanks
