I had an asthma attack and went to the doctors. I was prescribed to take three steroid pills a day for a week. My last three pills are tomorrow.
Since I started taking them I keep getting a horrible heartburn feeling from my chest. It hurts especially after I eat and when I lie down. Is it the steroids causing this? I just got back from a year in Asia (to the U.S.), so maybe the change in diet could be causing this instead? I never get this sort of symptom, so I’m not sure where it’s coming from.

I have GERD (gastroesophageal reflux) that is making me miserable. I take Prilosec but it’s no longer working well. Are there diets that can make a person less acidic?

Heartburn during pregnancy is caused the baby pushing in your stomach and splish and splash inside you. When the baby has lots of hair, this causes irritation inside you and thus you get a lot more heartburn than if the baby pushed inside you without hair.
i meant but not bu5,
nope I’m not a medical student bu5 I got confused. a head of hair produces a lot more heartburn than normal

And I don’t even know if it’s heartburn, but it makes me irritable, like sort of puts me in a bad mood.
I’ve noticed that water calms me down and I feel okay.
Anyone feel this way?
Experiences? Recommendations?

I was diagnosed with GERD about a month ago. I have lost some weight, stopped smoking, stopped drinking soda. Eating for the most part properly. I haven’t had a stomach ache in over 3 weeks. I take prilocec twice a day. My bed is lifted. But my throat is still constantly bothering me. It’s driving me insane. Is what I’m feeling normal? Is there something I’m doing wrong? Any secrets for curing the throat thing.

Lately when I have been taking zoloft, i get heartburn, or at least what i think is heartburn. It is a sensation starting in my chest and goes to my lower esophagus.
