I have shortness of breath and a cold burning feeling in the chest and I also get dizzyness and a faint feeling and I was wondering if any one else with gerd feels all this of any other symptoms.

I am uncomfortable in the center of my chest – almost like I swallowed something whole. I am also burping a lot. I am wondering if it might be heartburn – and think it might be caused by eccessive red wine— can anyone relate?

I am almost 36 weeks pregnant & I have INSANE heartburn through out most of the day. It doesn’t matter what I eat or drink. I find when I eat or drink a milk product, it is really bad. It feels like a burp that is just festering in my chest. My mom told me to eat a hard candy. It works, but only for the time that I’m actually eating it. My teeth are gonna rot!
Any advice? HELP.

I just had a thyroidectomy 5 days ago. I am having difficulty with heartburn and acid reflux. Feeling nausea and sometimes vomiting. Is this normal?

What is best to eat and drink at this point?

My husband is an alcoholic. Three days ago he started to have really strange symptoms. At first he had hiccups for two days, then severe heartburn, to the point that he can’t eat or drink anything but water, and now is tongue is completely white. Please help. I want to help him feel better but I have no clue what I should do. He also has an ulcer.

I am 60 and never had heartburn. Lately I’ve been getting it after eating candy with nuts or just plain nuts? Is this heartburn, or could it be the beginning of something else?
