Please let me know what works for you while suffering from heartburn like 24/7 it seems. I am 26 weeks pregnant.
is there any? i even ate jello today and it gave me heart burn. i hate having to take so many tums! i was prescribed Reglan for nausea, which also takes care of heartburn, but my doctor didn’t want me to become too dependent on it, since you can only take it for 12 wks max, so she prescribed me Zofran, which does nothing for the heartburn! Sometimes the heartburn is so bad it makes me feel like im going to vomit! i feel like ive tried everything. ALSO, im lactose intolerant, any dairy in my system, esp during the pregnancy, will make me extremely sick…
I have had acid reflux for years, and most heartburn medications do not work. Diet is my only control over heartburn (milk makes it worse). As for the back pain, I cannot afford a heating pad. I need to find something that will help with the back and neck pain!!!
Heartburn, or acid indigestion, occurs when stomach acids back up into the esophagus, burning its lining. What can you infer about the type of cells that line the esophagus? How are they different from the cells that line the stomach
I’m 22 weeks pregnant and I have the worse acid indigestion I’ve ever had. It’s horrible! I don’t only have heartburn 90% of the time, but I’m neaseaus with occasional vomiting.
Does anyone know any pregnancy safe tricks I could try? I’m already taking tums and zantac, which are helping a bit. But any additional ideas would be welcome. I’m desperate!
do you suggest i skip dinner tonight to give my stomach a break? i feel so bloated nauseas and can’t stand it. will clear liquids help?
i haven’t eaten since 9 am this morning… almost 12 hours ago… so i don’t think its my oatmeal….. i have an appt with a GI dr. but not til april 14th
i feel miserable.
I am having a real hard time trying to figure out what I can eat safely without arousing my acid reflux. Anyone else have this disease, and if so what do you eat?
I sometimes find that certain foods or drinks can make me not just have a jumpy tummy, but feel nauseous too and would like to know of some more natural rather than medical options.
Thanks
I was only saying the other day I’ve been lucky not to have any digestive issues at all this pregnancy – that’ll teach me!

(I’ve already tried Rennie Chews and peppermint tea, the tea was better but neither great!)
