I leave Oct. 6th for my AIT in the army. I have been to the doctor about the "lump in my throat" and he said it was Post Nasal Drip. Well its been 2 months and its still there and as i read more it seems i have symptoms of GERD ( the only symptom i have is the lump in my throat.) Can anyone share with me some remedies on how to get rid of this "lump in my throat"? I am very healthy and in shape. I just need some help its annoying! Thanks

i have got these problems all of he time stinging in the back of my throat and feeling and being sick please can any body help i have ben o my doctor he said i ham just one of those people who is like that , it has got that bad even when i ham out anywere i have got to come home early.

GERD is Gastro Esophogeal Reflux Disease. Its like a super severe heartburn. Can be controlled by meds and diet.

I’m almost 26 and just started on the pill. I’m in good health, don’t smoke or any of that stuff. I’ve noticed the last couple days I have had heartburn – starts up from the stomach region then goes up the esophagus; doesn’t go all the way to the throat. It’s slightly worse at night. I don’t lie down immediately after eating or anything like that. I was just wondering if possibly being on the pill could cause heartburn? Should I contact my doctor? Or is this just an early symptom and it will go away eventually?

I ate some garlic recently and maybe because of food allergy, it caused a severe heartburn, which never happened to me before in my entire life. I started drinking fennel tea and changed my diet. After few days, it got a lot better, but it still comes back when I eat certain food.

So my question is, at what age do people usually get heartburn for the first time? Will I be ok if I keep doing this diet? Am I having chronic heartburn? thanks

im 25 years old, at first i thought it was heart, because i sometimes feel small pains on my left chest, but i went to 10 doctors already i admit im very much anxious on how i feel they checked my ecg thrice and xray and all went out ok!, im on nexium and novaluzid they diagnosed me to have GERD and the two helped a lot! i sometimes get shooting pains in different parts of my left chest and after that i burp a lot. Do you have it also, just want to know if im not alone in this thank you so much and GOD BLESS
