I can’t drink caffeine. Will caffeine pills hurt my stomach?
Uh Oh! I just talked to my doctor and he said for now I would need to take a cold shower in the morning to wake up. No coffee. He thinks I might have gallstones!

I woke up feeling like I couldn’t breathe, right now I feel like I have something blocking the back of my throat like I have to burp, and then it goes down my chest and it burns so incredibly bad…my boyfriend told me it’s probably heartburn, and the symptoms seem correct, I tried to look up treatments but the ones on WebMD etc are all prescription meds, which I dont have…any relief right now would really help

I haven’t been able to eat any home made food lately I’ve been eating in restaurants every single day.
I normally eat and maybe an hour later I have brutal heart burn I always have to take a swig of milk and eat 5 or 6 tums and that usually takes care of it.
But this is after almost every meal im getting really sick of this heart burn!

Hello. I have been having a lot of troubles lately with headaches (that’s another story) and on and off stomach problems. I would be nauseous for a week or so, eating just bland foods, then a week later, I’d be fine … a few weeks later the nausea would come back, etc. I’m finally going to see a GI (hopefully I can make an appt soon) but I’m curious what this could be? Sometimes I get a burning, gnawing pain in my stomach, but I thought heartburn was felt in your chest so I don’t think it’s heartburn? Could Acid Reflux or GERD or maybe an ulcer be causing on and off nausea? Thanks.

Is heartburn an early sign of pregnancy? Im two days away from my AF being due, still testing BFN, but have horrible heartburn whenever I eat, no matter what I eat? That has been about two days now and never really had this problem before. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
Thanks!

I have GERD. Now, ever since I was in my late teens I have gotten pain in the right side of my chest not long after taking ibuprofen for migraines. It feels like the ibuprofen gets stuck in my chest and just doesn’t want to go down for at least a couple of hours. So my migraines go away and are substituted with chest pain. Sometimes I even throw up from the pain.
Back in 2006 I started having nasty stomach acid and didn’t know why. It just hit me out of nowhere one day and has been around since. So I’ve always taken zantac/ranitidine and it helps but only sometimes. I also throw up from it every time the zantac doesn’t work. I finally went to a doctor about it after getting frustrated with it happening everyday to me for so long. I was diagnosed with GERD.
So I want to know if my chest pain I get from taking ibuprofen stems from my GERD. When I started to get the chest pains in my late teens was that when the GERD was starting? What exactly can be done to help stop the GERD completely?
Please don’t tell me to take the apple cider crap because that makes me throw up and doesn’t help me at all. It also doesn’t matter what I eat or drink because I get bad stomach acid anyway. The only time this doesn’t happen is if I don’t eat and I’m sure as hell not going to not eat.
