I’ve never had heartburn before in my life, but suddenly, out of nowhere, I have such bad heartburn that it woke me up in the middle of the night. It literally started yesterday, and has been coming in waves.

I have not had any changes in diet, except for drinking a glass of wine once a day for the last three days.

Again, before this, I’ve never experienced heartburn. I didn’t even know what it was when it started.

I’m 15 weeks pregnant (first one) and it seems like I’ll go a few days with no problems at all and then all of a sudden I’ll have an entire day with constant heartburn, like 24 hours straight. I’ve been eating pretty much the same things day in and day out, so I don’t think it’s anything I’m eating. I’ve heard it can just be the pressure the baby puts on your other organs. Anyway, I’m looking for some good natural home remedies that are safe for the baby and that actually work! Thanks for your help!
I tried tums (doc recommended) but they didn’t even touch it! I hope this doesn’t last the entire time lol! Thanks all for your great suggestions!

For the past 3 days I have been having what I think is heartburn. It is a burning in my throat and like a heaviness in my chest. When I take a deep breath in it feels like there is something in my throat and It feels like as I breathe in it slides down to my chest. I have been taking Rolaids, but they only work for an hour or two. I take four at a time. The only other time I’ve had heartburn was when I was pregnant with my daughter. I haven’t been eating anything acidy or anything. Also I keep belching (sorry i know its gross maybe but I just want an accurate opinion.) Any information would be greatly appreciated! I also took Protonix for heartburn while I was pregnant. Any ideas on if this is heartburn or what I should do? Thanks so much!

Hello, i wonder if burping all the time and a warm full feeling in the back of your throat when burping could be acid reflux? I am pregnant and have had a sore throat for a while and excessive mucus in my throat, and contstant throat clearing. been to the docs and he says its Acid reflux but i dont get heartburn so i am confused

I was wondering if you have heartburn really bad and the medication is not helping like it used to, is there any kind of operation or treatment that would cure it?
I’m taking Omeprozole 40 mg in the morning and Ranitidine 150 mg at nite and then I pop tums as well. I might add that I am being very careful what I eat and how much.
