My wife is having all these symptoms: Heartburn, swelling, fatigue, tender breasts, cramps, bloating, aches. Period has been very irregular for the past 7 months. A week later than the previous cycle, each cycle. Took 2 home pregnancy tests and came out negative. Took one at the Health Dept. and it was also negative. Any idea what could be going on? if you can please cite your sources. THANKS!

I absolutely love my green tea and all sorts of tea. I love coffee too. I have recently come from hospital and need too spend lots of time at home but get acid reflux and heartburn as side effects from the meds. I really want to drink something light and hot but what can I drink that will go easy on my stomach?

I’m 36 weeks along now and the heartburn is crazy! I take tums like candy, they only work for a little while though. I’ve tried drinking milk with them, which I heard was supposed to help, but again, it only lasts a short while. Is it safe to take baking soda and water during pregnancy?
Also, any other heartburn remedies you know of, I’m all ears.
Thanks.

I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks along, I had low hcg levels of 16 and it went back down to zero 4 days later. It was light bleeding for 4 days and no cramping at all. It is 3 weeks later and I am having many pregnancy signs like sore boobs, nausea, moodiness, headaches and heartburn, (which I only get when I am pregnant having had 2 children previously.) I didn’t however feel this when I was pregnant in November. Could I be pregnant again? and is it possible to feel symptoms this soon? Some please share with me if they’ve had this experience. I have taken 2 negative pregnancy tests but by my calculations I am not suppose to get my period for another 5 days, based on when I had the miscarriage..Please help, I’m so confused.
I guess I should add that my sister is a midwife and coached me through the whole ordeal. She is away on vacation right now but I want to know if I am pregnant again before I say anything. From all the research that I’ve done and from what her and my dr. told me there are no increased risks in getting pregnant right away. Apparently your body won’t get pregnant if it is not ready. I did see the dr. 2 times since the miscarriage, I had the miscarriage at the hospital and had 2 ultrasounds done that showed no fetal pole or sac. I did not need a d&c as my hcg levels had gone back down to 0 the last time I had blood taken. The dr. said that it was light bleeding because it was so early in the pregnancy, he also said because it is the first miscarriage I’ve had and that because I’ve had 2 healthy full term pregnancies that I could start trying again when I felt up to it… and that if I wasn’t pregnant again in 3 months to come back and we would talk about fertility possibilities.
Thank you everyone for your input. I appreciate the support and advice.
