I have been in the hospital before, due to kidney stones. But the past two weeks have been very strange for me. I have been in the ER twice for "kidney stone pain", I was incredibly nauseated, and puked in the hospital parking lot, I was prescribed "Ciprofloxacin" because I also had a Urinary track infection, & it’s been over a week since I was in the hospital. I keep having themost intense heartburn/chest pains, but I want to wait it out at home. I have also been more anxious this week, more than any other week in my life, & I have no idea why. I am not sure if the medicine causes this? I have also switched my diet, as i am now a vegan, & do not eat meat, though I used to eat Pizza Hut chicken wings like there was no tomorrow, so maybe the uric acid has something to do with this. I have a yeast infection now because of taking the "cipro" but my heartburn lasts for about 12 hours, non stop, and hurts & makes me short of breath. I take tums, senna laxitive, and advil pm, nothing helps!!

have an episode of it. I wonder if the tap water could be the reason as I do drink straight from the tap. It has only started though in the last week or two. I have been having this terrible taste in my mouth for about 6 months now. It is very foul and sometimes like metallic. When this happens my throat and the back of my tongue and gums burn preety bad as well. I don’t have any other symptoms but I went to a doctor and he said it wasn’t sinus problems and my dentist said I had no infection in my mouth. Can acid reflux or GERD cause such a terrible taste in the mouth. The only time of the day when I don’t have this is when I first get up. It ususally starts about 3 hours after I have been awake. Any info about this would be very helpful, thanks!

I am 36 weeks pregnant and I keep getting heartburn at night really bad. So bad that I throw up in my sleep. Last night I did it and I inhaled some of it in my sleep. It was so horrible. I have started sleeping sitting up. I can’t stand this it is so scary. I woke up choking. Has this happened to anyone?
