I have got really bad heartburn and no medicine in the house. Can you suggest any home remedies. Also how long does it usually last – I have never had it before?

Has anyone ever been diagnosed with GERD while pregnant?

What test was given to prove that you had GERD?

What were you symptoms before and after the medicine.

And what medicine did your doctor prescribed.

I HAVE ACID REFLUX/HEARTBURN. ARE THERE ANY TREATMENTS? ANYTHING I CAN DO TO STOP IT? ANY HOME REMEDIES?

I only get heartburn when I am pregnant and I am 35 weeks along with #4. I have terrible heartburn and I take Tums and Rolaids often ( my doctor said I can take them as much as I need) However I hate the chalky after taste. Does it dilute the medicine if I chew them and then drink water afterwards? I have even tried the softchews – they are better but still leave an unpleasant after taste. Can I drink water to wash it down or is the water defeating the purpose?

I have acid reflux and I am a very pickey eatter and my mom doesnt know what to cook for me. I love milk products but they make me sick and I also LOVE spicy foods but they give me really bad stomaches and heartburn! Any suggestion?

I was having bad heartburn, went to the doctor, was diagnosed with GERD. I started taking Prevacid, which worked for about 6 months. Then the heartburn comes back full force. My doctor switched my medication to Protonix and the heartburn went away again. But now, only 3 months later, the heartburn is back! I have had an upper endoscopy, and there is no ulcer. So why does my heartburn keep coming back?

I keep suffering with my stomach and though I got the vomiting under control the pain has continued. Now the vomiting has started again and awful pain. Anyone got any advice? My doctor doesnt seem to be able to help. I had my gallbladder removed last year. Now he thinks it may be some tablets Im on upsetting my stomach. Ive just been on antibiotics too.

I would like to know cuz i dont know if im having heartburn or its just nausea…..i just feel like throwin g up which have an ugly taste in my mouth but it doesnt hurt….

I don’t think I have ever had heartburn before… what are the symptoms… It feels like a pain in my chest but it is not constant… like every thirty seconds or so it throbs… I am 30 years old and have always eaten any and everything I want (spicy, citrus, all the things that normally cause heartburn) but I have never EVER had heartburn… I didn’t really even know what rolaids and tums were for… so WTF? Why is this happening now, and how the hell do I get rid of it…???
