I take ativan in about an hour so I cannot take ant acids or heartburn relievers…so is there a way to relieve it or make it go away…I will take any advice even standing on my head….

I have been getting heartburn alot since my hysterectomy, To where I cant even drink milk with out getting sick I have taken everything there is possible out there for heartburn and nothing seems to help anymore

I haven’t eaten in two days. My chest has been hurting. It gets worseee with food, medicine, and exersise. I’m 16, and on a diet.

so i’m a 16 year old girl, and i’ve recently been suffering from chest pain,unpleasant taste in mouth,burning stomach,belching, shortness of breath almost immediately after eating.also tonight i took an ibuprofen and now i’m sitting up late feeling like it’s stuck in my throat. I had these symptoms about 5 months ago but they disappeared ,so i thought it was just a one time thing.Now they’re all back. could this be gerd? Mom wants me to get a barium swallow done but i just want some ideas on what this could be? My grandmother suffers from gerd, and a hiatal hernia also.

is geographical tongue or candida(thrush) and outcome of a possible heartburn/acid reflux attack. Sometimes I get white spots on my tongue after I eat something spicy and it looks like geographical tongue…but I never really know the difference between geographical tongue and candida…cause I know they both cause white stuff to appear…maybe someone might know! THANKS!! then I can start figuring out what I can or can not eat.

When I don’t sleep enough, I get those symptoms. Will Tylenol relieve them?
I have not slept as I do not care to. I simply do not have the time.

I NEVER have heartburn. The only exception to that rule is if I had been drinking. I have not even touched alcohol in I can’t even tell you when.

This morning, all of the sudden Istarted having the worst heartburn I have ever had. I didn’t even eat anything, so I can’t figure out what it is. I am a few days away from starting my period. I have alot of symtoms that could be either pregnancy or PMS (thick white discharge, cramping and backaches). I was just wondering if bad heartburn that I NEVER get could also be associated wih PMS.

*Hubby and I have been TTC for over two years….we have kinda figued at this point that it’s just not going to happen. I don’t want to get my hopes up that the cramps, discharg backaches and NOW hartburn too is a good sign of pregnancy, unless I can rule PMS out as a reason of what could be going on. I am 11 DPO today, but I’m not going to take another HPT until at least the day my period is due. I was testing alot up until 9 DPO and all negative.

So yeah, I just want to know if PMS can cause heartburn?

Last fall I started getting terrible heartburn with stomach and side pain that sometimes wrapped around my back. My stomach felt full and like it was burning. I went to a doctor and he did an endoscopy and said I had a hernia. Weeks later I began feeling nauseous and it would last for about a week, then I would feel better. My doctor said that it was because I had IBS. The medicine he gave me didn’t help at all so I went to a different doctor. He did this weird test where I ate an egg sandwich and they took pictures of it going through digestion. They said that I had gastroparesis and that my hearburn was from GERD.

I have a hard time believing that I, all of a sudden, out of nowhere developed gastroparesis and GERD about the same time that I discovered that I had a hernia.

Is it possible for food to get caught in a hernia and make you feel very sick to your stomach? I almost constantly feel like I’m going to throw up, I burp up stomach acid, and I have pain in my stomach.

I’m 33 weeks and I am having really bad heartburn? What can I do if honey and milk doesn’t work? PLEASE HELP ME!!!
