What are some home remedies to help heartburn?
Yesterday I woke up with really bad heartburn, it eventually went away. Now again, I’m sitting here with a even worse feeling in my chest. What are some foods I can take to ease the pain? I took a pill, milk and a bit of coke…which most likely made it worse…do anything?
Why do I get keep getting heartburn?
I’m current 14 years old. I stand at 5′8" and I’m about 112lbs. Recently I’ve been getting heartburn almost every time I eat. I have a pretty healthy diet and only 13% of my body mass is fat. Why do I get heartburn so much, What causes it, How can I get rid of it?
@Ganja420, go back to high school and get your GED before giving anyone dumb advice like that.
Every time I eat, i get some sort of heartburn and food reflux. why is that ?
everyday, i hear some noise coming out of the lower left side of my abdomen, though they are not harmful. but when i eat, anything, i always feel that some acid is coming up with some food.
i explained that to my doctor but he said everything is normal.
Does anybody know if its a serious problem?

Question regarding heartburn or acid reflux?
Ive been having a little issue from time to time regarding heartburn or acid reflux. Im not sure which one i specifically have, all i know is that i ONLY experience the discomfort whenever i go without eating breakfast; chances are in 2 hours or less ill begin to experience symptoms related to either.
My specific questions are: if my dilemma only occurs when i go without eating breakfast, is it even worth going to the doctor? And do i have acid reflux with heartburn or just heartburn period?
(just to give some more info i experience a burning sensation in my chest whenever this occurs)
Any insight would be appreciated thanks
Are some people more prone to having heartburn than others?
I, as far as I know, have never had heartburn. Or, maybe I’ve had it once or twice but I can’t be sure. I’m 25 years old and I don’t exactly eat the most perfect diet. I have my share of hamburgers, fried and fatty foods, and anything else that can cause heartburn. Yet I never seem to get it. Even with both my pregnancies, when heartburn is usually a common symptom, I never had it. Both my parents get heartburn from time to time.
Is this something that some people are more prone to getting than others?
How to cure heartburn naturally?
I get Heartburn late at night. It’s really starting to drive me up a wall because I’m only fifteen and I have school in the morning and this is keeping me up until almost three in the morning some times. I feel nauseous half the time. And Tums don’t work like they use to. I get this real disgusting taste in my mouth some times. Kinda tastes like expired milk. (I happen to know what that tastes like) I think I might have acid reflux. Is there anyway to get rid of it though a natural cure? Please I just want to sleep. This is really bugging me.
Heartburn; warm or cold foods?
If I have heartburn (I’m young, but on a lot of medications), would warm or cold foods be better to help relieve the discomfort?
