I’m 40 & 2 today, and im still suffering from it, Ok so im England and its 9.05am here but i seriously get about 2-3 hours sleep because of heartburn. I drink milk straight from the fridge to try and calm it down, i must do this 5-6 times through the night and then i have to visit the bathroom at least five times in the night. Gaviscon is good i really need to get some in again lol,. I hopeyou don’t have it all through your pregnancy i like i have its one of the many "lovely" side effects of carrying our budles of joy
.
Good Luck xx
I used to get it bad when i was pregnant.. I used to sit up straight or stand …raise my arms in the air and breathe slow and deep sounds weird ..LOL but it worked for me..could feel it gradually ease .. hope it helps you a bit
I used to keep a packet of extra strong mints under my pillow at night for this very purpose!
It was just enough to take the edge off the heartburn long enough to allow me to go back to sleep.
Not very tooth friendly maybe, but needs must!!
dr put me on zantac i use to throw it up i found that rennie worked the best for me i always carried a packet in my handbag works fast to and you can also have it b4 u eat which helps, all the best.
I’m 37 weeks pregnant and i wake up every night.. i drink milk and it helps….dry toast or crackers… let me tell you why milk helps..Milk neutralizes stomach acid
