i feel your pain hun! I am taking Gaviscon Cool tablets, all gaviscon products are safe to take during pregnancy.
But what also works is to eat your main meal at lunch, giving you time to digest before bed, with me night time is the worst time. Eat small light easy digestible meals and at night if your suffering prop yourself up on lots of pillows so your almost sleeping in a sitting up position.
Hope i helped
For me, drinking milk helps my heartburn. Also, take notice if any specific foods cause it. If so, stay away from them if possible. You can take some medication for it, but I would ask your doctor before taking anything.
try antacids.they worked for me
wellmilkdoes helpand is good for you but you cannot run to a glass ofmilk every 30 minutes lolso i would try tums
nothing will help food or drink wise but Rennie’s were good for me.
gaviscon but i dint find that helped much but i did find the cheap versions really helped you can get then from asda lidl most shops, milk makes it worse
I know that you said that you don’t want to take gaviscon but it really does work wonders. I carry round the biggest bottle you’ve ever seen and just swig from it! It really wont do your baby any harm as its basically liquid chalk. You can also try eating chalk which is supposed to work wonders too but must taste totally minging. I share your pain and I hope you find a cure that suits you soon! x
I took the Calcium Fortified Tums. They worked a while would wear right off and I’d eat them like candy (5 before bed time because that’s when it struck)
I had to just keep popping tums..i don’t know what’s worse..the all day nausea or the bloating and heartburn..I choose nausea.
