Can artificial sweetener, like equal or sweet n low, cause heartburn?

   Yes, sometimes those sugary sweetener can cause moderate heatburn if you taste it too much in a day. If you use non-artificial or natural flavors, they can’t cause heartburn because natural flavors are fresh and can be washed from dirty stuff.
