Can Gerd cause strange symptoms during physical activity?
Okay, lately just doing the simplest of physical tasks has been making me feel slightly sick to my stomach and giving me chest pains in the center and left/center area of my chest. I’ve been on Prilosec for months now and have recently been inactive for about two months because of an injury. The pain seems to accompany an increase in burping as well. I was wondering if this sounded more like a heart or GERD problem.
Had a clean stress test about three months ago.

I have Gerd and I ended up with spasm of my Coronary arteries. Hospital thought it was a heart attack but it wasn’t. Get it checked out, most probably nothing to worry about, but the inflamation can cause the same symptoms of heart problems.
Good Luck.
My advice:
a) ditch the tablets or heartburn remedies. You’re treating the symptom not the cause.
b) talk to your doctor about seeing a dietitian, your problems are likely to be diet related. See a physiotherapist for your injury to get yourself active again gently.
c) get into a healthy, clean, naturally good balanced diet, ditch the junk , coffee cigs and booze and try to go organic you’ll be amazed how much better you will feel.
d) drink more water and exercise as much as you are able, especially if your BMI is over recommended levels.
Good luck.
