Can Gerd Cause Ulcers in the stomach??

or abominal pain, i got checked for h.pylori and i was negative.

There is some debate about this, though the "official" advice is that H. pylori is required for ulcer formation. However, many sources (see my source link below) feel that excessive acid in the stomach, due to diet or pre-existing excessive acidity can in fact cause ulcers in the stomach and duodenum (upper small intestine).
GERD, which is the return of acid into the esophagus, can be associated with excessive stomach acidity, so that’s why they’ve drawn an association between GERD and ulcers.
Now, it’s very well-known that GERD can cause ulceration in the esophagus, and if severe enough, in the pharynx (personal experience!). So it’s no surprise at the idea that stomach ulcers may occur — it just takes more acid, as the stomach’s more used to the stuff!
