it is unpleasant but not harmful. the old wives tales say that a pregnant woman with heartburn will have a baby with a lot of hair… have no idea how much truth there is to it but it is a well known complaint in the final weeks of pregnancy.
i’ve not had it but then maybe our little girl will be born a baldy! LOL. x

you should be ok as long as you brush often and get your teeth cleaned regularly. try eating smaller blan meals (more frequently) and dont drink and eat at the same time
No its totally normal, and I had this as well, really bad, All you can do is take rolaids Antacids daily No more then 4 a day i believe it is. Consult your doctor, But if they say you cant take anything then get a different doctor because thats not true.
I was the same way I had it Light in the beginning on my pregnancy and then towards the end It was horrible I did not have it every again now scene I had her! ask your doctor if you are not already taking anything my doctor told me I could have Zantac good luck
stress and pressures
… it should get better
I think your ok if you just have it through your pregnancy. The real damage come from years of having it and not getting any meds to control it. Not only does it effect your teeth it does damage to your esophagus but heartburn is very common in pregnancy. I had it during my pregnancy especially near the end super bad. It would make me throw up. My doc told me to take prevacid OTC. Which is safe during pregnancy but check with the doc first. Make sure if its real bad where it causing alot of problems to tell your OB and they can help you out but i don’t think it causes any real problem if it just been while your pregnant.
Heartburn during pregnancy is hideous and is triggered by absolutely nothing, but it wont do any long term damage.
not really, no, I had never had heartburn etc before and had it really bad in my second and thrid trimester, but since having my baby I havent had it at all.
try drinking milk or eating ice cream to help – for some reason they woked wonders for me!
