Can prolonged use of high dose ibuprofen cause heartburn and other complications?

I was in a car accident and was prescribed 800mg ibuprofen. A few weeks after my car accident I had my wisdom teeth removed, so I was prescribed more high dose ibuprofen. That’s almost a month of taking high dose ibuprofen daily. Can that be the cause of the recent heartburn and indigestion issues I’ve been facing?

yes ibuprofen can be hard on the stomach, you should take this medication with food, or after eating. and yes it could be the cause of your heart burn, if it has taken the protective lining from your digestive system , then you will be more likely to have heartburn and digestion issues.
along with that it may affect your kidneys as well.
Yes.
