I am curious to know if running can be associated with increased heartburn/acid reflux. Lately, I been experiencing it a lot more since I have been running more frequently.
Thanks.

Running is not the cause of your acid reflux. Running only exacerbates it because your stomach acids are moving around as you run. It has much more to do with the foods you are eating during the day.
Possibly, but if you put a couple of books (or something similar) under your headboard to raise your head up a little, it will help the acid reflux. That is what my doctors told me anyway!
well it can be but if that happens then just walk for a few minutes and stop and breathe for while
I have actually found that regular running prevents heartburn/reflux.
That said, if I run on a stomach around half full or more, I have experienced some minor reflux, but usually deep breaths from the diaphragm put an end to that.
