so i have heartburn and it hurts my stomach like horrible so after the pain 10 minutes after i get diarrhea alot but only when i get the pain i was thinking can it because by gerd i have not taken any meds until today i started nexium just want to know if there is a connection with gerd and diarrhea
because my heartburn got a little better and so did the pooping so
im getting an appartment with my husband and we wenty to walmart to get things and i was so scared of getting the pain i just wanted to leave walmart its really getting bad

I have Gerd. My doctor gave me FAMOTIDINE 40 MG for Pepcid. and my Heartburn has stopped
Now i have throat problem’s. It feels like something is touching my throat. in the back.

The red dots all the way back in throat are bigger than normal.

I eat natural food, avoid foods that cause acid and still i have this problem.

Do i need another medicine or what… please tell me this is bugging my everyday life

I’m a 51 years old and suffering from GERD, but am not being able to eat protein rich diet and have lost tremendous amout of weight. I want to start eating protein rich diet and will want to know if there are some protein rich diet that doesn’t cause gas. Or is there a certain way I can increase my weight.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Once I woke up in the middle of the night because of an intense pain in my chest. I couldn’t get the pain to stop. I couldn’t catch my breath. It wasn’t a burning sensation so much as extreme pain when breathing. I think now that I aspirated in my sleep which would have been caused by my presumed GERD. I went to the ER and later saw two doctors following the episode and no one could tell me what had even happened, but they refered to it as heart burn, and I said "No, this was no heartburn."
Has anyone else experienced aspiration?
I was taking nexium but have since lost my health coverage. Without healthcare insurance it is no longer and option.

My 6 wk old baby had severe anemia , low hemoglobin and required a blood transfusion. I was never told by the doctors what caused it. She has GERD..could that be a factor?

I have GERD. Now, ever since I was in my late teens I have gotten pain in the right side of my chest not long after taking ibuprofen for migraines. It feels like the ibuprofen gets stuck in my chest and just doesn’t want to go down for at least a couple of hours. So my migraines go away and are substituted with chest pain. Sometimes I even throw up from the pain.

Back in 2006 I started having nasty stomach acid and didn’t know why. It just hit me out of nowhere one day and has been around since. So I’ve always taken zantac/ranitidine and it helps but only sometimes. I also throw up from it every time the zantac doesn’t work. I finally went to a doctor about it after getting frustrated with it happening everyday to me for so long. I was diagnosed with GERD.

So I want to know if my chest pain I get from taking ibuprofen stems from my GERD. When I started to get the chest pains in my late teens was that when the GERD was starting? What exactly can be done to help stop the GERD completely?

Please don’t tell me to take the apple cider crap because that makes me throw up and doesn’t help me at all. It also doesn’t matter what I eat or drink because I get bad stomach acid anyway. The only time this doesn’t happen is if I don’t eat and I’m sure as hell not going to not eat.
