Chest pain and Palipations daily for 6 months?

First off, I’m not an idiot, I have seen several specialists and continue to get follow up treatment, my doctors are stumped, so I just wanted to see if anyone has similar symptoms or any ideas?

About 6 months ago I started having really bad palpitations and intermittent chest pain, I usually feel very dizzy and naseauted. The pain is sharp upper mid/left side of my chest, and sometimes comes with chest pressure, and a feeling like my throat is closed (?) hard to describe.

I saw a cardiologist who did a stress test, echo and a full work up. Besides some PVCs and a little leaking they said everything was normal.

I also started being treated for GERD and am taking 40 mg of protonix twice a day. I was diagnosed with anxiety several years ago and have been taking .25 mg of xanax 1-4 times a day for the last 3 years. My doctor thinks it could be anxiety related, I only have normal life stress, would it be possible for me to have constant symptoms on a daily basis for 6 months?
And I am a 28 year old female, I don’t smoke or drink. I am being treated for high blood pressure also with atenolol, but it is controlled. I excercise a couple times a week, (probably should more). I’m mildly overweight 5′5 155 pounds, but besides the GERD and high BP I’m in good health.
I started the atenolol a couple months after my symptoms started, adn Eric you may be psychic, my last blood work showed my thyroid was a bit underactive, not not enough to be treated. I am supposed to re-check it next month. But wouldn’t my symptoms be of overactive thyroid, not hypo?

I have a question about Prilosec OTC ???

I was told when I was diagnosed with GERD that I needed the purple pill. Because it was so expensive the doc said that prilosec otc was the same thing but a cheaper alternative. I have been taking it now for over three years. I saw an add that said it was not to be taken for more than 14 days. What am I doing to my body by being on this over the counter med. so long? I am now experiencing mucle pain and cramps! Is there a conection?? Was the doctor wrong for suggesting this for long term treatment? I have tried to stop the med. but I can’t do without it? Is there a safer alternative????

HELP!!! STOMACH PROBLEMS IN FEMALE TEEN!!?

Hi. I have posted multiple questions before on this question but now it is different. I think I have acid reflux or either a stomach ulcer but I have had tests done ( upper barium x ray, blood work) and it all came back normal. They said nothing was wrong. I have had this pain in my mid- upper ab. for over a month and a half and am on Prevacid which doesnt work that much at all. The doctor thinks it is GERD or ulcer. What other tests can be done to really figure out what is going on and what other treatment is there? I am a female at age range 12-14 years old. Also, is anybody else suffering from this?any other familiar stories? I need help and tests are coming back negative. PLEASE HELP AND SUPPLY WITH INFO!!!!

In 2005, I applied for social security disability. I was fighting an overwhelming battle with depression, asthma, Gerd, and a couple other things. Now, when I went to see social security disability doctors, the medical doctor was concerned and said I need to seek further treatment. The psychologist said I was fighting depression. I was still turned down.
Now, I recently seen that psychologist ( the social security psychologist on my own dollar ) He diagnosed me with BiPolar Disorder AND PTSD. I’m considering applying for disability once again because I have worsened over the years. I talked to a social security disability attorney, and he said the conditions weren’t what you say, overwhelming, convincing evidence. Does my body have to literally shut down in order to recieve benefits ? I’ve seen SEVERAL people on here say they were approved for Bipolar alone. Can you give me detailed information about Bipolar and how severe the case has to be in order to receive benefits. What do you think of the same psychologist from social security seeing me as a patient and making that diagnosis, but yet I was still denied in 2005 ?

Last month I felt a burning in my chest and slight wheezing. My Doctor of Osteopathic medicine did a breathing treatment and asthma breath test. He saw one number go up after the breathing treating. He says it sounded (when he listened with a stethoscope) like I was not getting enough air in my lungs. He gave me Ventolin HFA, Singulair and an antiobitoic. After 10 days on the antibiotic the symptons subsided (the burning in the chest). But, now it has returned. I have only used the Ventolin inhaler once as it makes me feel like I will have a heart attack. I am having a funny feeling in my chest in the center and it feels prickly and/or iiritated kind of like heartburn but more raw. It is annoying more than painful but if I take a really deep breath I feel some pain there and underneath the breasts. I also have to burp constantly and it seems to have a chemical taste to it. My throat feels awkward afterwards too. Do you think this is my asthma or my GERD acting up or a more serious issue?

i had chlymidia and its driving me crazy?

i belive i had it for over a year with symptoms and never went to the health department because i was sexually active with someone whom i allways felt dirty being with in the first place so i felt it was just a infestiation of my mind, cause of course i never thought i had a disease.

but on may 5th i was treated with medicine i was taking two differnt kind of pills for about ten days. my frist treatment i didnt take seriously drinking liqour both night and day, so from what ive heard the alchol canceled out the medicine.

i went back and to the medicine again on may 21
i became sexually active with my current girlfriend for the fist time on may 26

i felt the medicine seemingly working on me up untill i had sex with this girl. i felt almost as if i was pushing a infection inside of her. which made me feel inturn horriable.

i was checked again on the 18th and got the results today
they came back negitive

i dont understand how this could be true since i still have symptoms.
secondly im not sure whether or not i gave it to her or not. we are both going back on the 30th for her to be tested and both take the medicine.

what the chances i passed it on to her. weve had sex several times.
and why did the test come up negitive

is this my mental complex acting up. im natural to anxiety and this is taking a toll on me.
i need to figure this out. i know its what i had a month ago how do i not have it supposnbly a month later if i had sex with someone four days after my treatment and your suppost to wait like two weeks.

theve tested my urine and its clean of all things. so because i had frequent urination and burning and itching for so long has it just set in my head that im infected. or is my uretha permently affected from the bacteria.

i really hope i just passed it on to her and thats the case. but it still doesnt explain how it came up negitive on these test results.

it really bothers me though about getting cured because i feel i will probley keep throwing up the medicine because ive gotten such a bad feeling from this std that my stomach has been hurting.
i feel like the symptoms of gerd. so before even taking the medicine i allready feel like im going to throw up.

i feel horriable everytime i think because i cant escape the feeling of my penis. its put so much stress on my body that im not even sure if ill be able keep the medicine down.
what am i to do?

I have been using Prilosec for the last 5 years after being diagnosed with GERD. Seemed to work great for a long time, now I still have acid reflux and I’m worried about the long term use of this stuff.
My Dr. says its fine to use. At the same time, I’m living everyday with chronic fatigue, daily headaches that turn to migraines, feeling miserable, aching everywhere- on top of that now sinus tachycardia and heart problems. Then I’m told well I have Fibromyalgia.
Ok, Randomly today I happen to run into 2 older ladies that flat out said, don’t use that Prilosec as I was in the CVS isle buying more.
One said she almost died from long term use of prilosec and for years had anemia and her iron was depleted. I’m scared now and would like to know if I can stop Prilosec suddenly and completely without withdrawl symptoms? The box says do not stop treatment.
That is for a 14 day dose. I’ve been taking it for years and now I’m worried.
Could using this for years have made my fatigue worse and feeling terrible and the migraines and heart trouble?
Could this have hurt my stomach or damaged anything.
I don’t want to depend on a drug to control acid and the GERD all day.

I was diagnosed and treated with a 10 day course of antibiotic treatment, no less than a week later the symptoms returned. I have moderate to severe episodes of nausea in the pit of my stomach and sometimes the pain is unbearable. I’m belching up lots of gas, my belly tends to become bloated from time to time and I’ve lost about 7 pounds within the last seven 7 months. I think i was misdiagnosed, my initial visit i was given pepcid, then prilosec for GERD which i am still taking. Should my doctor recheck to see if the H. PYLORI has resolved. Please advise.

Gastrointestinal Disease?

Hello eveyone,I would like some speculations on my current
health problem addressed.In 2005 Dec,I came afflicted
with so called heartburn symptons.I have never previously
had any engages with it then suddenly, bam out of no where
my chest would stay firey all day long and stomach has remained warm/hot.I have taken many pump inhibitors, acid reducers and nothing alleviates the sympton not even a little
bit.I began to lose my appetite at onset but the only thing
the prescription prevacid restored was my appetite and
that’s it.Few years back my doctor had me on fiber because
he said it was low.Changed doctors back then and somehow
don’t remember staying on it and little concern about not
continuing it.I also had mutiple muscle spasm before the
gerd-like sympton and on current muscle spasm treatment.
I also recall doctor saying something about my liver long
time ago but think he said it was ok.I believe something
else is underlying or related.Does anyone have a clue?
