I never had heartburns, but now I get one every time I eat something greasy or starchy, like pizza, bread, rice or red meat. The only thing that coincided with it is that I started drinking fresh fruit and veggie juice every day. Even though I don’t use citruses, it it possible that a lot of juice causes heartburn? what fruits can I juice to avoid it?

What would cause bad heartburn. I get it during the day, but especially bad when I get into bed.

My friend saw me eating oranges yesterday and told me it meant I would defo have a boy!! Also heartburn is caused by a baby with a lot of hair! I must admit they made me chuckle. have you got any good ones.

So for like the past year I’ve been having this problem. I keep urinating. Like I’ll go and 10 minutes later I’ll feel like I still have some left in me so I’ll go again…and again…and again. And it coesn’t hurt/burn, it’s not a funny color. there’s no blood. And I feel like I’m hungry all the time, and when I eat I feel lik crap. And I have this achy feeling all over my abdomin and back. Since last october I’ve been in and out of the doctors office/hospital having numerous urine/blood tests and they have never once found bacteria, blood, sugar, cancer cells, etc. Infact a few months ago(I think maybe 3-4) I went in because I was going all the time, and there was nothing wrong! He said my urine was very concentrated and that there was no sugar. So I’d say type 2 diabetes is out of the question. It also seems like I have heart burn often. But I keep freaking myself out into thinking I have liver failure, kidney failure, cancer and every other awful thing in the world. My girlfreind says my constant urination/aching is caused by stress but I’m not sure if stress can cause that. I can afford to go to the doctor at the momment I will hopefully be going soon. But It keeps eating away at me and it’s scaring me to death. I keep making myself think I’m going to die.

Note(In feburary I was diagnosed with IBS(irritable bowl syndrome) I’ve heard that can cause heartburn, frequent urination, stomach/back aches. But I don’t know for sure.

I have been experiencing acid reflux in the past month, it has now started to occur daily, but I never feel the need to take something for it. I am in my mid 20’s.

Having heartburn is very serious in the long run, and may be especially so in my family due to deaths caused by esophageal cancer.
I will go to the doctor but it might be a couple weeks until the appointment so I have come here for any help or support

I also take doxycycline for acne, and without having to look far, doxy can cause heartburn. However, the heartburn is new, and I have been taking that medication for almost 2 years now. I am visiting my dermatologist today whom prescribed it to me, perhaps she has info on this.

But now the chest heaviness… It is not extreme but I notice a feeling in my chest, it feels dull and faint and directly in the center. I really feel like it is truly my esophagus.

Why would it feel that way though? Why not just the standard burn? Is my esophagus worn out or something?
What exactly can I do?
I took a pepto bismal last night but I know that is not the poster-heartburn medication and I’d have better luck with something else.

I just want to know I’ll be fine until whatever date I can get that Dr’s appointment.. and do you think they’d put the camera thing down my throat or could they diagnose me another way? I hope they wouldn’t need a blood test… I have fear of doctors/needles..

For two days now, I have been having sharp pains in the left part of my upper chest, in the heart/left-lung area. I have ruled out heartburn because heartburn does not last for two days.

I’m really worried that I may have something serious wrong with my lungs or heart. I am young, so heart attack is ruled-out too.

Any answers?
I do plan to visit a doctor tommorow.

I have been having terrible heartburn , I wonder if anyone knows what caused this when you are pregnant? someone told me that it is food with acid like Tomatoes for eg but i don’t eat those i cant stand them at all. The hard part is that it is so uncomfortable….. please can someone help what do i take to stop it or ease the discomfort!!!!

Now I am having some real health problems…swollen, distended abdomen (very little pain except a lot of heartburn, mostly a lot of discomfort…feeling like some is large or swollen inside and abnormal movements in belly and back…not pregnant…possible IBS), digestive related problems, and various discomforts and numbness on the left side of my body…currently having GI workup…recent endoscopy…do have a few problems there (causes of heartburn revealed, etc)…scheduled for other GI workup soon…this is all too wierd…don’t think the knot is connected to the vast array of symptoms, but am curious about it while I am in the process of having medical tests done for other things…was wondering if anyone knows if it might be dangerous…
