When I breathe through my mouth it hurts to take deep breathes like something is stuck in there. I already suffer from heartburn and bad anxiety, and when I burp I have a bitter taste. My stomach however doesnt really hurt. Whats the cause of this, and how can I get it to go away? It really is affecting my daily life.

I;’m only a 14 year old girl. I feel like I’m too young to be getting heartburn! The first time I got heartburn I woke up, ate cereal, saw it was a snow day and went back to bed. I understand why I got it, I guess it’s bad to lay down after you eat? The next time I ate and got ready for school and I got really bad heartburn, keep in mind that all I ate was cereal, and it was so bad I wanted to leave my first class and go to the nurse. The next time it was at a mexican restaurant. I was always able to eat whatever spicy food I wanted and I always get the same thing, but this time I had really bad heartburn and it ruined my night. This morning I woke up and ate cereal and sat at my computer, no laying down at all and I have heartburn right now. I hate FEARING food. If something like cereal can do this to me I bet other things can.
It takes a long time for this to go away, I used tums and stretch to get the gas moving but it does nothing. I’ve started burping whenever I need to, even in front of guys and random people. I feel like I have no manners, but I’m just trying to avoid this pain. Should I see a doctor? What could be the cause of getting heartburn so suddenly?!

My 55 year old father has had lower back on the right side and has been in a lot of pain the past 3 days. Last night, he suddenly has "heartburn". He said he didn’t sleep well all night because the food he previously ate 2 hours before started to backup on him. He has been burping all day, and has had chest/stomach pains all day, but feels better when he burps. He also went #2 twice today. Is this associated with the back pain? What can we do? Thanks for all your help everyone!

I get heartburn every day. I still have yet to figure out what causes it. Until recently I realized that it only comes after I take lexapro. (20 mg) I take it everyday for anxiety. Is lexapro the cause of my heartburn, and is heartburn a symptom of my anxiety?

I had never taken TUMS before, but I had heartburn 2 days ago and I took 3 of them. Then that night, I started having painful feelings in my legs like I had to move them really badly.
I know it may sound far-fetched, but taking TUMS is the only thing I did differently in my routine that could have given me side effects.

Can kettle corn (Orville Redenbacher smart pop mini bags) cause heartburn? What desserts can you eat with heartburn? Are there any foods that can break up heart burn? Thanks!

i went to the ER last night due to extreme heartburn, ive had it a lot but last night was the worst ive ever had, i uped my dose of lamictal by 50mg, i was taking 100mg and their trying to get me up to 200mg, i was wondering if the increased doseage of this could cause the extreme heartburn
