Tums and pepto- not cutting it. The heartburn is so bad it’s causing me to get sick.
Whats gavisgone?

I have been getting heartburn for the past week and half or so after almost everything I eat or drink. I have started smoking cigerrates about 5 times a day( I know it’s awful) after quitting for a few months( I had been smoking for 5 years, but never got heartburn this often). Could the smoking be the cause of the heartburn I have been getting?
Oh I have been smoking again for about 3 weeks…

This has been going on for about a year now. If I eat eggs, I get heartburn and I’m nauseous (sp?) for the rest of the day. The weird thing is, it only happens with eggs alone. I can eat other foods that contain eggs ( bread, cake, cookies, etc.) with no trouble. I thought maybe it was acid reflux or maybe an ulcer, but I don’t get sick from eating any other foods at all. Any ideas? Thanks!

Ive recently changed from regular food to organic and have been walking daily and drinking lots of water, not eating spicy food and since then Ive had heartburn. What am I doing that may be causing this? I dont want to take medication for it what can i do to prevent it with out medication?

Eric Holder had a hand in Bill Clinton’s pardon of a fugitive billionaire. How much of a hand we may never know. But there were a number of Democrats who weren’t happy about that pardon in particular.

The whole matter isn’t enough to even consider rejecting Holder as the new AG. But it is enough to cause some serious heartburn for Democrats and Obama in particular.

I’m looking for fish oil capsules that don’t cause heartburn and burping.

I recently got my scholarship cancelled due to a low GPA. I now to have to write a letter giving a reason for my low GPA. Is this enough? The limit is one page. Do I need more explanations?

Dear Scholarships and Financial Aid Committee:

I am writing to you in reference to the cancellation of my Academic Excellence Scholarship. While I do not like to make excuses for my shortcomings, my freshman year was incredibly difficult due to my mother’s sickness.

My mother has an esophageal ulcer and suffers from kidney stones. This past year, her gastroenterologist found a couple of kidney stones that had been causing her pain. Every time the kidney stones moved, her liver produced extra bile. The bile would cause heartburn, which in return would affect her esophageal ulcer. My mother heavily relied on me when this painful situation occurred. I had to stay at home to take care of her, complete her errands and do her everyday chores. The kidney stones were surgically removed until March of this year. This greatly affected my studies as I had too many worries concerning my mother and her medical bills. I could not fully concentrate knowing that my family did not have enough money to cover her expenses.

I felt overwhelmed as I started my first year of college with a huge distraction at home. I did not know how to balance my school responsibilities with my at home responsibilities. However as time progressed, I began to cope with them and as you can see in my records, my grades improved. I hope you take into consideration my excuse. I would immensely appreciate a second chance in proving to you that not only can I meet your standards but also soar above them.

is it the food i eat???

or can stress cause it????

My fiance experiences regular heartburn but for the past hour he has been having a completely different type of pain in his upper stomach. It is so bad that he can’t get comfortable and it won’t go away! At first I thought it was gas but he’s taking Gas X and even a pamprin…still, nothing has helped. If you have any educated or past experience suggestions or advice, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
