Heartburn when i eat certiain foods?

usually when i eat eggs, ice cream, chocolate, milk, carrots. mostly dairy foods i get a heartburn. pepno bismo takes it away but i get it very often. like 3 times a week. my mom says it might be acid reflex. what do i do?

For the past year I have been having major discomfort in my abdomen. I have been suffering from chronic nausea, bloating, gas, acid reflux, indigestion and constipation.

For months I had been having SERIOUS bouts of nausea, bloating and constipation. The nausea felt like I had the urge to vomit, yet never did. I have an intense fear of vomiting also, but still would have settled. Constipation was very persistant and feeling bloated without being able to burp was also accompanying these symptoms. The doctors said that I had IBS, and told me to change my diet. After altering my diet numerous times, and having no luck, also after months of having a burning feeling in my throat, and being diagnosed with acid reflux, or GERD, they still left me feeling very sick and miserable usually 70% of the day and unable to sleep or eat.

In November 2008 I had an endoscopy done, the doctor told me they saw no ulcer, beacuse recently I began having alot of abdominal pain in the upper right side, and having trouble eating almost any type of food. They did a biopsy and everything appered normal.

Ive also had an ultrasound, showing everything looking normal.

-No pregancies ever.
-Nomal amounts of stress.
-Average diet, with moderation to greasy & acidic foods.

HELP!!

To sum it up 6 out of 7 days a week I feel nauseas and uncomfortable and always have the urge to vomit yet never do. I also had a bout where I vomited twice in one day, and was EXTREMELY nauseas for about 4 days straight, now just back to the normal nauseal everyday, until this moment keeping me up because I cannot sleep due to the excessive nausea I have.

I dont know if this helps or not, but I have an extremely hard time burping also, farting isnt an issue, yet I am very constipated?
I am under a different amount of stress, yes, but I have been like this my whole life and have dealt just fine. So, I am pretty sure it isnt helping, but I dont think it is the sole contributor.

Yes, they have checked for the bacteria. Nothing was found. And no, the yogurt didnt work. =/

And thyroid seems closer to something I should look into.

Would this have anything to do with my gallbladder? I have looked it up a but on the internet.

The first couple years of taking Lexapro I had no side effects. For the last year +, I have had abdominal pain, gas, heartburn & diarrhea almost daily. I have asked my Dr. 3xs if it could be from the Lexapro, but he keeps telling me no. I have a decent diet ~I eat lots of fruit & salad & drink nothing but water. My Dr. just want to give me more med’s for the symptoms (prilosec, etc). I take Pepcid and GasX almost every day. To test my Lexapro theory I went off it for three days (I know your not supposed to just stop, but I am at my wits end and really wanted to see if this is the problem). The first day my sypmtoms were the same. The second day they were slightly better and the third day there was no heartburn at all. I plan on telling my Doc, but I know he will just tell me that it is not related. Has anyone else had these side effects from Lex? Anyone been on Lex for awile with no side effects, only to have them develop later? Don’t side effects happen in the beginning only?

No heartburn, but I get a wicked bad stomach ache if I eat them. Anything I can take, like before hand?

pls help!!! medical help?

I’m 16 year old girl who eats healthy and does plenty of exercise. I have GERD and have taken many preventative measures, but they don’t seem to "prevent" my acid reflux episodes as often. I’m having some heartburn right now, but don’t want to take antacids because they aren’t all that healthy and I don’t want to become dependent on them. So my question is, are there any natural remedies for heartburn that you guys know about? Please don’t mention dairy products as I’m on a strict diet right now. (for allergenic reasons as well as acid reflux). Thanks in advance. Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Im 18 years old, Why do I have heartburn?

I eat kinda healthy, I do cut sleeping medicine up so it will kick faster, I do weightlifting, No jogging, I really dont chew my food up…Why do I have heartburn…Im only 18

What is in Mylanta that makes it work?

What are some modifications to diet and lifestyle that could have the same effects as mylanta to reduce the occurrance and alleviate the syptoms of problems like heartburn and indigestion?
Wow, I eat lots of cruciferous vegies, they’re so healthy! I don’t want to stop eating them (or chocolate!) are there any foods to counteract these ‘bad’ foods for stomach acid/indigestion?

Celiac? Need Some Help!?

For years I have been struggling with odd symptoms. I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Some have gone away some haven’t. I am wondering if there is something else behind my issues. I am 26 since I turned 20 I had an endoscopy, colonoscopy (Both at 20, found GERD and a small Hiatal), xrays, ultrasound, bloodwork. Nothing is ever found. I am starting to consider food allergies possible Wheat. I am not willing to take the IBS diagnosis unless it is last resort. My symptoms through the years have been the following:

GI Symptoms:
Diarrhea
Constipation
Loose, Flat and Ribbon Stool (Different Colors:Orange, Yellow, Gold, Green, sometime normal brown)
Left Sided Abdominal Pain (not severe but consistantly present, right underneath my ribcage)
Noisy stomach (Most on my left side and towards my lower back)
Foul Smelling gas at least 3-4 times a week
Gnawing feeling in stomach, indigestion
Excessive Gas

Other Symptoms (Possibly due to hypothyroid)
Fatigue
Anxiety/Depression/Irritable
Dry Skin (Especially Elbows and Knuckles)
Rashes (Boils)
Some Vision Issues
Cracking Skin on Feet
Back pain almost between shoulder blades and in lower back
Weight Gain
Brain Fog
Dry Lips
White Spots on teeth

I never have blood in the toilet or on my stools.

I recently started a gluten free diet (this past sunday). To see how it works. I know GF diet takes some time, so in the meantime, what do you guys think? Possible Celiac or Gluten Intolerant?

My diet has been so bad the past few years that I would even be able to tell you what foods I reacted and what ones I didn’t.

I never ever ever get heartburn, not even when I eat spicy foods. The only times I’ve had it were when I was pregnant or when I eat too much at once.

But…for some reason, I got a pack of cinnamon gum and whenever I chew a piece, I get heartburn. Why on earth would that happen?
