I eat tons and tons of hot/spicy food everyday, so i was wondering how i can avoid causing gerd from these foods, other than stop eating them. What precautions should I take?

This is the first time this happened, how can I sooth the pain in my throat/esophagus, thanks for the help

Im 26 weeks along with twins and i have to worst heart burn. Its to the point that i caugh till i end up throwing up cuz it hurts so bad. Any help?? I tried tums and pepto but nothing is helping.

After I take my meds. For heartburn and acid I feel like the acid over powers because I feel burning in my chest

Ive had stomach problems since I had my gallbladder removed. Ive got some gastritis and GERD but also have an hiatus hernia. I want to know what experiences others have had and what the gastro or doctor says. They dont put my stomach problem down to the gallbladder being removed. I think it must be something to do with it. I suppose I want to know if my stomach will recover.

I’m 8w2d and having EXTREME heartburn since I was 6 weeks. I mean it’s EXTREME. I can’t sleep sometimes, I have to sleep on my tummy and put my hands on my tummy because it warms it up and I can sleep. Why is this?

I don’t remember having this heartburn with my previous pregnancies!

I am tired of losing sleep due to heartburn.

I have these chest pains in the area of my chest where my ribs come in (that V area, where your diaphram is?) and a little to the left. Sometimes its lower, and more the the right of my upper stomach. Sometimes it burns, sometimes it hurts. I have a little bit of backpain too. The whole thing gets worse when i lay down.

I don’t eat much, im underweight.

My doctor told me to take Zantac 75 two times a day, but I’m scared too :\ I’m worried it’s something else.

I’ve always had heart burn (GERD) issues.

I’m a girl, 14, so it’s not a heart attack.

Does this sound like heartburn to you? Where is heartburn located? Should I take Zantac?

Has anyone every had tightness in throat a little arm pain nausea and like sharp shooting chest pain and also chest a minute ago it felt like pressure or a squeeze lasting a minute or punched in chest buy not really painful.I have had xrays blood work ekgs fine i do suffor from ibs gas gerd and bad anxiety also numb fingers thanks.and shortness of breath like?Thanks.

For the past few days I’ve been getting what is feeling like intense heartburn a few times a day and before I sleep. I usually feel like I have to take a drink to get rid of it. Is it possible I have some kind of disease?
