I am 17 years old and am experiencing bad acid reflux/indigestion at least twice daily. It feels like a choking feeling in my throat followed by nausea and bloating, with belching. I started taking Nexium 20mg everyday for almost 2 months now, and later in the day (after lunch) I take omeprazole to relieve symptoms. I have also been taking tums/rolaids extra strength as needed, which on a bad day is quite freqently (but never more than the maximum dose of tums in 24hrs). I realize that my symptoms are most likely brought on by stress and anxiety. The indigestion started when I was 15 but it has been on and off for 2 years now, better some months, and worse others. I am wondering if anyone has these symptoms and is experiencing what I am, any recommendations?

Dear people of the world, I am a person suffering from chronic daily heartburn for 5 years now. I’m diagnosed with Barrett’s Oesophagus, and am currently pre-cancerous. I’ve tried all the Western medicines, be they antacids, H+ Blockers like Nexium and Omeprazole. But they don’t seem to help at all. I’m worries for my life. And I was wondering if anyone here could provide some recipes for heartburn remedies. I’m kinda desperate at this point.

I have been suffering from heartburn for almost three years. Sometimes it goes quickly, but it’s really painful and I am unable to breathe because the movement would create more pain. I have tried some pills and drinking more milk but it seems to strike randomly. Is there anything else to try? Thank you

I have horrible heartburn right now and I dont even know what its from. Ive had some pretzels and tacos but I only had hamburger and lettuce on it. and Ive had water and apple juice. my heartburn is HORRIBLE. its burning so bad I usually can eat a life savor mint and it helps a lot but not today! its so bad. I cant eat tums they make me throw up. anything that will help????! thanks!

I suffer from heartburn everyday, I was hoping someone might know of some remedies that are good for me (tums is too much calcium) I tried baking soda for a year and ended up with 4 kidney stones!! I need something my body won’t hate me for taking ~ thank you in advance for taking the time to respond =]

I think I may have these symptoms for weeks if not months now. Is this something I can cure through home remedies and avoid something like a gaestrontologist visit, which sort of seems like a bug out????

I have had no symptoms like neasua or bloody stool btw, just that the left side of my ribs has a lot of pain sometimes and i seem to have a lot of small burps when im trying to sleep and it bothers me the most when I lay down. Any advice would be great. Thanks!!!!!

I have heartburn everyday. Zantac works really great but I don’t want to keep buying it forever. Is there something I can do without medicine?
