I think I may have these symptoms for weeks if not months now. Is this something I can cure through home remedies and avoid something like a gaestrontologist visit, which sort of seems like a bug out????

I have had no symptoms like neasua or bloody stool btw, just that the left side of my ribs has a lot of pain sometimes and i seem to have a lot of small burps when im trying to sleep and it bothers me the most when I lay down. Any advice would be great. Thanks!!!!!

I have heartburn everyday. Zantac works really great but I don’t want to keep buying it forever. Is there something I can do without medicine?

Yesterday I woke up with really bad heartburn, it eventually went away. Now again, I’m sitting here with a even worse feeling in my chest. What are some foods I can take to ease the pain? I took a pill, milk and a bit of coke…which most likely made it worse…do anything?

I get Heartburn late at night. It’s really starting to drive me up a wall because I’m only fifteen and I have school in the morning and this is keeping me up until almost three in the morning some times. I feel nauseous half the time. And Tums don’t work like they use to. I get this real disgusting taste in my mouth some times. Kinda tastes like expired milk. (I happen to know what that tastes like) I think I might have acid reflux. Is there anyway to get rid of it though a natural cure? Please I just want to sleep. This is really bugging me.

I was on antibiotics for a chest infection and since Saturday afternoon have been suffering with severe heartburn which i think is a side effect from the antibiotics. I have a pain in my chest and its very painful to eat or drink. I have had gaviscon which has not helped. I can only get to the doctors Wednesday so if its not gone by then i will make an appointment, i am hoping it will settle on its own, i had my last antibiotics last night. Does anyone know anything that could help?
I remember starting to get it after eating a jaffa cake, is it possible to have it wedged or something and that is what is causing the pain?

I’ve had a sore throat for a few days now. It doesn’t hurt unless I swallow, and there is a pain closer to the left side of my throat, kind of like something rough had scratched it. This is was particularly bothersome when I got up the day before yesterday. I don’t have any other symptoms, but I’ve had some heartburn which I’ve taken Zantac for as needed. Any ideas what it could be and if I could get better without treatment?

I just started taking Clindamycin 300mg 4 times a day. And today I had very bad heartburn it felt like there was fire in my chest. I had to vomit and after I felt a little better. But I still have heartburn. What can I do? Should I stop the medication? I also have a bad taste in my mouth that I can’t get rid of. Is that normal?

I’m 17, and i am overweight. I weigh 197 pounds and i’m very short. (5′2” to be exact) Please help me…..I need to keep this under control. I don’t have diabetes, but i do eat a lot of sweets. I always get sharp pains in my chest and some days, It hurts sooo bad that I feel as if i’m having a heart attack. Could this also be because of stress?
