I have a tooth with large caries, It’s the last one at the right bottom, used to be the 2nd to the last but i had my wisdom tooth extracted already. I had it filled but my dentist suggested root canal treatment. Now it’s bothering me as it hurts.
I read about root canal treatment being the "cause" of some systemic illnesses, as the filled root becomes breeding ground for mutated bacteria, I dont know if its true. But Im considering extraction instead. I do have hypertension and suffers from angina sometimes, or heartburn.
Should I have root canal or have the tooth extracted?

I went to the doctor today because I had a kidney removed a year ago and I’m having bad cramping the area from my side to my belly button. And because I have alot of stress on me, from various things going on in my life.
So he prescribed me ranitidine 150mg and carbamazepine 200mg, which from what I can tell is a heartburn medication and a seizure medication. I’m afraid to spend the $ to get these filled and waste the money if they don’t help me because I’ve never had a seizure or heartburn.
What should I do?

Any herbal remedies for this? My appetite has gone down. Sometimes my sleep is disturbed due to this and I’m worried as I am losing weight. Physician ruled out gastro infections, but I am worried. Any help?

I never used to buy into the natural remedy thinking. I have completely changed my mind and turned my world upside down. I cannot believe how every doctor just sends you away with prescriptions. So my husband has been on GERD medicine for years. (gastrointestinal reflux disease).
I don’t even think I believe its a disease any more and I feel that there are natural ways for this problem to be taken care of. Of course I know about not eating spicy foods or too much coffe or alcohol, but is there a certain remedy that has worked for anyone?
