I think I had food poisoning last night, but I’m all okay now. Only thing is now I have really bad heartburn with no medicine or anything for it.
I’ve tried the natural remedy of bicarb soda (or baking soda or whatever you call it) with water, and it helped for a little bit, but the heartburn is still there and I keep burping etc
Help!? What can I do!? It kills!

I have been through every OTC heartburn medication and every prescription except Nexium. I am currently on a maximum dose of Dexilant and I am still having heartburn associated with the chemo. I also have tried the H2 blockers and those give me headaches.
Any Suggestions? The acid is so bad I can’t sleep more than a few hours at a time.
Also – I have a prescription for Zofran, but it gives me terrible migraines. Compazine doesn’t touch the nausea and I won’t take Cannibinoids. Is there anything else? I am desperate.
I am seeing the doctor tomorrow. I just don’t know what to ask for since I have been through almost every medication and I am still so sick.
Thank you

I’ve been having major heartburn/acid reflux for as long as I can remember. I am 22 years old and I eat fairly healthy food (well, not really). I’ve tried using Prevacid & Prilosec and my heartburn still continues. I do drink a lot of water (atleast 2-3 500 ML) a day. And I eat fairly spicy food (not too much). I was wondering if there is any suggestions or precautions I must take to get rid of this heartburn permanently.

Ive been getting heartburn for a few weeks now. Nothing works. It comes and goes. I take Prozac for depression and anxiety and when I take the pills it gets a lot worse for some reason. How can I stop this?? I’m having it right now and I don’t have any heartburn medication with me

I’m 30 weeks pregnant with my first and having really, really bad heartburn to the point where I’ve almost thrown up a couple of times. Any advice on what to eat/ not eat to avoid this? I’ve had my gallbladder removed as well and I don’t know if it could be affecting the remedies I’ve already tried? Any real advice is well appreciated.

1. What are some of the various forms of indigestion (are there any others besides heartburn)?
2. what causes indigestion and what are some symptoms?
3. Are there medicines that can combat or prevent indigestion, if so, names please.
4. Are indigestion and lactose intolerance considered diseases, disorders, conditions, or something else?
5. What happens to a person if they are lactose intolerate and consume lactose?
6. Are there any treatments to prevent or get rid of lactose intolerance?
7. How do you become lactose intolerate?
Your help is greatly appreciated!

It is caused by just being alive, not triggered by certain foods. I am 33 weeks and it is just getting to be unbearable.
