My husband was diagnosed with H.Pylori .His about to finish the 14 day treatment but still getting heartburns. Our rude doctor who did diagnose him with it but couldn’t have answer our questions. Why is he still having heartburns and can he take some over the counter med for it? I’m so fed with this doc that about to talk to a G.I Specialist. Please advise…..
Also..is it possible for the infection to come back after the treatment is over?

I’ve had many digestive problems for the past year and half, almost two years…I went to my doctor (GP) and she said that I need to see a gastroenterologist because of my heartburn that is unresponsive to treatment. I’ve also had a lot more troubling stomach problems, too. My question is, I need to get a referral from my doctor for it, and I don’t know what to put for the reason. Can someone help me think of what to tell my doctor to put on the referral? Here are my symptoms:
nausea/heartburn
severe gas and stomach cramps
frequent stomachaches
alternating constipation/diarrhea

well my mom calls it ‘acid reflux’, isn’t it the same thing? so my dad was put on medication for his heartburn in his late 30s, and i’ve had it since i was 11 or 12?? but i would get it once a month, lately it’s been 1-3 times a week. and on rare occations i will actually have some of the acid in my stomach spew a bit into my mouth, iiiickk.
is this heartburn? i never eat anything acidic, last time the doctor just old me to stay away from tomoatoes, soda, orange juice and liqorice.
i have a perfectly healthy diet and im 120lbs and 5′7 definatly not overweight!

Anything… natural that could help it? It’s a real bugger.
Thank you all in advance.

I am just on my second dose of 10 mg and I feel very focused like the medicine is doing what its supposed to. Except I have developed heartburn (which I don’t believe to be related to the Adderall, maybe some nuts I ate earlier). The weather is bad, and there is snow on the road, so going to the store for milk isn’t an option. I have ranitidine, but I read that it increases the amount of the adderall in your system if you take it and I don’t want to get "all speeded up". Input would be appreciated. Thanks

I’m 17 weeks pregnant and starting a few days ago my heartburn which was an occasional thing that would come at night has progressed into an all day thing. I drink water i have some sort of heartburn. I eat anything i have heartburn… the amount of medication that would be needed to treat that i wouldn’t feel comfortable doing. THe only thing that seems to work for me is milk and that only last 15 mins. Are there any tricks so i can sleep without the burning?
