could it be heartburn(GERD) or gallstones?
I don’t know if i have heartburn or gallstones… gallstones run in the family. but all i have is a pain in my upper abdomen. i don’t have any of the other symptoms of gallstones. I do feel better after burping and going to the restroom. I have taken over the counter medication and they seem to help but… i am worried about which one i have and which one i don’t. I have done cleanses and i have never seen any stones passed through. is there any definite symptom that would help me know which one i have? I used to get it all the time, but i stopped drinking soda drinks and cut down on sugars and it seems to help. i only get it maybe like once a month now around my period. please help! any ideas?

When I had my gallbladder problems the pain was very severe. It started off fairly mild but then got worse and was to the point that I was doubled over on the floor and dripping in sweat by the time the rescue came. Everyone is very different tho.
See a doctor. They can do a physical exam, blood work and even an ultrasound if they think it is necessary which will show them the inside of your gallbladder.
Yup. Easy to misdiagnose. Mine were.
I went to the ER 5 times before my gallstones were properly diagnosed. The best way to diagnose is with an ultrasound.
You CANNOT cleanse gallstones…that is an urban legend.
Eating fats, like cheese, meat, and whole milk can exacerbate the symptoms.
