Do infants eventually grow out of having GERD?

My pediatrician thinks that possibly my two week old may have acid reflux, is this something he will have for the rest of his life?

No. They grown out of it. My son had it and when he was about 7-8 months he didn’t anymore. They tell you the more baby can move around and once they are mobile it pretty much goes away. Don’t worry!
