Doctors: What is better for GERD, Zantac, Pepcid AC, or Prilosec?

I have to get something OTC and I have to take a medicine every day, which one is best?

I am not a doctor, but I prefer Prilosec.
I am not a doctor, but I have GERD. I take previcid, and it helps alot. Before, I vomited 2 to 4 times a day due to GERD…now I don’t vomit at all.
Jen, before you make a decision, talk to a pharmacist. Tell him what meds you take and ask him if any of those OTCs will interact with your meds. He will know if thier is a problem mixing any of those meds. Best of all its free advice–no trips to Dr, and no payment for asking questions, just takes a few minutes of your time.
