Heartburn Gerd Causes, Symptoms & Treatments Questions
Gas or indigestion can cause a rapid or irregular heart rate especially after you have been lying down for a while, but so can heart problems. Watch what foods you eat and how late at night that you eat them, this can contribute to indigestion in the middle of the night. Sometimes just elevating the head of the bed or sleeping on extra pillows can help relieve heart burn or acid reflux. My worry is that heart problems can sometimes manifest as digestive problelms too.
To find out whether your problems are digestive (like GERD/ gastroespohgeal reflux disease) and not cardiac in origin I would suggest seeing your physician. It may be benign or it may be serious, but it is better to be sure.
If it is your stomach your physician can prescribe medication that will prevent further problems. If it is your heart you need to be under the care of a physician.
See a doctor.
never play around with your heart..it maybe, make an appointment and ask..make sure you write down what you eat , especially before bed so the doctor can evaluate you better..
No it does not. heart conditions do though. See your doctor immediately. Better safe than sorry!
My cat has a heart murmur that needs to be checked every 6 months.
