Hi! I am 23 years old and have never experienced heartburn. The past 3 days, I have had the worst heartburn, it makes me feel like I am going to throw up! Hot tea, hurts like heck and rolaids are so minty they almost burn my heartburn…Tums don’t work and neither does pepto. A scoop of ice cream did a temporary treatment but that was it. I have NOT changed my eating habit and have in fact been living a healthy lifestyle since jan 1s of this year :) So why now, why all of a sudden do I have heartburn?! What causes this to just creep up? Any help is appreciated, thanks for your time!

Ok the past few days….typical day is oatmeal for breakfast with a banana, snack is something like celery and peanut butter or just celery. Lunch sandwich on whole grain, turkey, veggies and mayo and mustard (not too much), strawberries and raw almonds….then i snack usually some plain popcorn, not buttered or anything. Dinner, chicken breast with ms dash, asparagus and brown rice. I dont drink much coffee or tea and dont do sodas at all! And this has been a typical eating day for me for the past 4 months…thanks in advance :)
