Prilosec.. it is over the counter now and completely safe. Take one every night before you go to bed. It will take about 3 to 4 days to work then all gone.. It is awesome. I do believe CVS has it on sale this week so you can get it cheaper. Good luck

With all 3 of my pregnancies I had terrible heartburn, all day every day. I got it no matter what I ate. I told my doctor, because the Tums were not doing any good, and he gave me a prescription for Ranitidine. You take one in the morning and one before bed. It is completely safe for the baby and I only got heartburn a couple times after being on the Ranitidine. You don't have to get the prescription, it is sold over the counter as well, but make sure you check with your doc before taking it. I know what you are going through and it is miserable! Hang in there and good luck!
