has anyone had an operation treating gerd? what was involved? thankyou.
these answers are good for sure but im asking if anyone has had the operation to fix it, also as nexium are weight gainers whats a good alternative?

My doctor suggested it for me, but that was long before the meds they have now for 24 hour indigestion. I have not had an episode in years. Also, I chew 2 Tums at bedtime every night.
you can take nexium..my husband does..and also he had a light run down his throat to see if he had any problems there, about his reflux..then he went and had a biopsy done in his throat to make sure there was no cancer…but all the test he had done was no bad at all
