my daughter has severe GERD (gastro-esophogeal disease in toddlers) she’s 26 months old and only says 3-5 words if that. it went undiagnosed for months. but now is under control.
thanks
she is very smart in all other areas to my knowledge and is showing nothing else that comes to my attention

It could be a metabolic defect of glycosylation. Could also be an electrical heart defect. Reflux in itself may also be associated with delay simply due to nutrient deficiency.
Is your daughter developmentally delayed in any other areas?
