Or how long does it take to have serious complications (Esophageal narrowing, ulcers, etc.)?

Just need to take your Zantac or whatever you are currently using to control excessive stomach acid and will more than likely stay as it is.
Can also try some acidopholis to see if that doesn’t straighten out stomach issues. Usually works after about 5 days of use to replace friendly bacteria that has been destroyed by antibiotic use and that has never grown back. Acidopholis replaces this bacteria (flora).
