I need a list of food for GERD diet any help?
I am not talking about dieting for losing weight. I need a diet for Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease.

Start out with a bland diet. Avoid any foods that caused you problems before your diagnosis, such as cruciferous vegetables, citrus fruit, onions, garlic, hot peppers, hot pepper seeds, even black pepper. Anything that might come up should be avoided. You will feel much improved with a bland diet, and lose weight anyway. You can find the bland diet on the internet. Basically, it is white foods, like rice, white bread, steamed or poached chicken, lean fish, white potato. I had read somewhere that lamb was alright, so I have eaten lamb when on a bland diet. Also, don’t overeat, and avoid stress. After eating, don’t lie down. If you need the head of the bed raised, you might need to have a riser placed beneath the mattress. I would really cut down just to make sure I could handle a given item, replacing gradually. Ask the gastroentologist for a printout of what to eat.
GERDs do not require food.
