I watch what I eat, I take my medicine and still use antacids daily. It’s not a bad heartburn but just an aggrevation to deal with. I’ve had gerd for five years now, but it seems to have gotten worse over the past 8-10 months. Just looking for some relief.

Well sounds like to me that you need to see a gastroenterologist. You need to have an endoscopy. You might also ask to try Nexium.
Not all meds work for all people. You may want to try another.
I have battled the same problem for years. A year or so ago it got so bad that I began having anaphylactic throat constriction . This occurred primarily when I ate bread. I thought it was allergy so I stopped eating bread. I have come to realize that it isn’t wheat but the YEAST.
Now, that I have cut yeast almost totally out of my diet I no longer have Acid reflux.
Mine would accelerate to coughing and vomiting.
The Doctor finally put me on Acitech for 1 pill a day for 20 days and it has been gone for 2 months now. It feels great.
For a while my husband took Prilosec. Then the medicine started making him sick.
Nowadays he takes papaya enzyme pills, which should be available at a local health food store. And when he stomach really gives him a fit, I fix Tension Tamer tea with a spoon of sugar, a spoon of honey, and a dash of powdered ginger.
Another thing you can try is a shot glass of some red wine before dinner.
Good luck!
Calmicid by Melaleuca. It is an antacid which contains calcium (soothes upset stomach), ginger root (helps relax the stomach muscles), chamomile (promotes a healthy digestive tract), and fennel seed (to dissipate stomach acid).
