I think I might have heartburn?
I don’t think I have ever had heartburn before… what are the symptoms… It feels like a pain in my chest but it is not constant… like every thirty seconds or so it throbs… I am 30 years old and have always eaten any and everything I want (spicy, citrus, all the things that normally cause heartburn) but I have never EVER had heartburn… I didn’t really even know what rolaids and tums were for… so WTF? Why is this happening now, and how the hell do I get rid of it…???

I have has acid reflux since high school, and a history of heart problems. The thing about heart burn is that is has a number of different symptoms and everyone reacts differently. I tend to feel a burning sensation in my chest and sometimes neck and throat, but I have heard people complain of chest pains associated with heartburn. However, I agree with the last answer in that you should never take any sort of chest pains for granted. Go see a doctor and see what he or she says. If it is heartburn, you can make small changes to your diet and times of eating and that should help. For example, I used to eat really late at night, and that always gave me heartburn, so now I eat dinner at no later than 6 and I don’t usually have problems. Depending on the pain you are experiencing, you could just have an inflamed chest well, which tends to cause tightness and pain in the chest. My point being, there are a number of problems that could be the one problem you are experiencing. Hope this helped!
you go see the dr, as sometimes people think its heartburn and it is the heart. dont take any chances. be safe and see someone.
