I was told that by a friend. My baby came out pretty close to bald and didn’t have any hair to speak about until she was a year old.
The heartburn is because the hormones cause the esophagus sphincter to be more relaxed. That plus the uterus growing and squishing the baby up makes it easier to get. I am 22 weeks with #2 and have heartburn at least as bad as the first pregnancy. Of course I really like spicy foods and those are known triggers of heartburn.
So pretty much, the hair thing has nothing to do with heartburn. Some women don’t get much heartburn, others get lots of it. It has nothing to do with hair growth.
no, heartburn is caused by the acid in the stomach that overflowed
nope, its an old wives tale.
heartburn is caused by the baby getting larger and pressing on your stomach
Think about if for a minute…..
How could hair on a baby’s head, concealed in your womb have any bearing on heartburn?
no.. but theres an old wives tale that states that if you have alot of heartburn while prego, your baby will have a head full of hair, idk if i believe that..
heartburn is caused by acid overflow, which is caused by spicy foods, greasy foods and so forth..
i had heartburn alot when i was pregnant, because i loved the greasy foods.. because it helped lubed me up so i could pooop. lmao
that really sounds like a stupid reason for heartburn……like many other things they say about pregnancy…….just think about it for a second…..seriously
The wives tale is that if you have heart burn your child will be born with hair. That is actually one that I want to believe, Im convinced that mine is going to come out bald because I have had no heart burn, and both my husband and I both have light hair, so Im thinking the baby will be bald, cause most blondies are bald when they are born.
It is an old-wives tale, but I have read on a pregnancy site that more women with heartburn have babies with hair, as opposed to women who don’t have heartburn. Make sense? Hope so, it’s too early in the morning but I have read that.
