If its just been a burning sensation in your stomach or throat area (heartburn or acid reflux) for the last couple days, I would stay away from spicy foods, any dairy or anything acidic or carbonated (and alcohol is a no no too) for a little while and see if it passes. If it sticks around for more than a week you should see you doctor. It is likely acid reflux or indigestion which can be easily treated with over the counter meds. I would try some liquid Maalox Max. Its great stuff! good luck.
