we call ir GERD(gastroesophageal reflax disfunction)…fisrt if u have over weight u have to try to count it down…if u are smoker its better if u decrease the number of it per day…..secound u have to have right nutrition program…..u have to have ur nake before dinner and lunch….dont eat spicy food for routine and dont drink(drink rare) the things which are with gas like pepsi ,coke and others……when u have ur food its better to dont do these things since one or 2 hrs past…. 1 take bath 2 excersising 3 having fruits 4 smokin 5 having dark cafe 6 luind down or sleep some of them guide ur blood to other parts of ur body like skin and another make ur stomac acid getting rise….another thing is dont wear tight clothes which will keep ur stomach part under pressure …thats all i know u have to do and dont have to do without using medicament…..but if u wanna use drug although u will attention to all above …the best drug is Omeprazole …thats capsul u have to have it in the morning,30 mins before u have ur break fast when u are fasting …..thats only one per day…..it will decrease ur stomach acid…the other medicament are like ranitidin ,cimethidine…..u have to take them twice a day one 30 mins before ur lunch another one one hr before u go to bed for sleep at night……the other one is some suspontion like AL_Mgs ,one spoon 30 mins after lunch and dinner….i advice u to do one week what i notice above it u dont feel any better then start omeprazole frist …..the other thing….maybe of GERD have a reason of the bactria named H.Pylori(helicobacter pylori) the specialist can find that by indoscopy and take a biopsy…

Also take antacids regularly and water, that will dilute all the badness going on.
Glad you asked that. I had a great deal of trouble with acid reflux a few years ago. I got a prescription drug, very expensive, which helped a lot, but still allowed the occasional episode. I also gave up coffee (still miss it) and modified my diet quite a bit to reduce fats and acidic foods. Then when my doctor said she would not renew the prescription without my coming to see her, and I didn’t want to, I just quit the expensive prescription drug. And I stopped having occasional episodes! Apparently I had revised my diet to the point where I was no longer causing it, and the only thing causing the episodes was the "come down" effect not long before it was time to take another pill. In effect, the pills had been CAUSING the very thing they were prescribed to control!
Hyper acidity can be controlled by careful eating habits.Avoid acidic foods especially sour items.Avoid lime,lemon,orange and all citrus variety cool drinks/juices.Donot have a spicy food or food containing too much chillies.Have reasonable exercise like brisk walking.Drink more pure water than bottled drinks.
ya it’s called live a more healthy life style……?????what do i mean…..Don’t smoke,drink carbonated drinks such as soda, cut out really spicy food such as franks red hot sauce, do not eat 1 hour before going to bed and just try to make a plan and stick to it……I got this when i was 18 and i learned if i cut out the spicy crap i could slurge once and awhile, but it’s more than hot sauce it’s all sauce’s and sausage, hot peppers, banana peppers, caffine in genral is bad….and thats about it yeah it might take you a few years before you can start to enjoy those foods again but if you behave your self eventualy you can do some of those things with out having to worry about the hartburn at night and that burning in your throat…

No cure but learn to know what foods set it off and I always find a small glass of milk is very soothing.
vinegear will make it worse. try Gaviscon or another heartburn remedy, there are plenty about, available from all good chemists
You need to stop eating meat and dairy, some items that you are eating are just not meant for food.
zanex….or xanex…not a pharmacist but there is a prescription for it. Ask your GP or local clinic..prolly free to ask. Its very common.

There’s no cure, but ask your Dr. for the medication he recommends. Tums and Rolaids won’t take care of the discomfort.
