I have heartburn everyday. Zantac works really great but I don’t want to keep buying it forever. Is there something I can do without medicine?

1. Try eating five or six smaller meals a day rather than three big ones. An easy way to keep these meals small is by simply limiting your portion sizes.
2. Observe your diet: Your body might digest fats far slower than either protein or carbohydrates. The longer food sticks around in your stomach, the fuller you will feel after eating them. Unfortunately, a full stomach puts a lot of pressure against your lower esophageal sphincter – LES for short (the valve that connects your esophagus to your stomach). The extra pressure on a leaky LES will likely lead to acid reflux. Not only that, but fats are harder to digest, which means that your stomach needs to produce even more stomach acid in order to break them down.

I used to have that a lot one time… I recommend consuming a glass of milk, also clutching a hot water-bottle to your chest should dull the pain.
this helped me, no medicine involved. I started noticing a drop in heartburn in about 2 weeks
