medication is giving me heartburn even on a full stomach?

I hurt my back at work and my Dr. gave me Naproxen even on a full stomach I have a burning feeling in my stomach and really bad heartburn

Stop taking it and call your Doctor and let him know what is happening and tell him he needs to prescribe something else that will not irritate your stomach but adequate to relieve the pain.
