and I’ve been having period like cramps for the last week or so which I usually dont have to bad. My periods due on Wednesday………But I took a first responce test today (it says 5 days before period) and it was Negative=(…..Was it all my mind paying tricks on me or is something else up?

From everything I’ve read and heard, the hormone that trips the test may not have built up in your system enough. Try to wait. Also, they say you get a better result if you do the test first thing in the morning, again because the hormone level will be higher. I wouldn’t rule it out yet. The really sucky thing is that pregnancy symptoms are so similar to period symptoms. I hate that.
If you are pregnant is would be to early for the hpt to detect it. Wait until you have missed your period and test again.
oh i know it is hard, but try to wait, i am going this to right now ( well 2dpo) but ttc 1 year now, already feeling the tiredness! just try to wait, until wednesday, it could be a false negative, it all depends on your hormone levels, if they are very low, it could be that you can retest on wednesday, or even the day after, good luck!
I think its too early and maybe you should try again the day your period is due. Fingers crossed for you!
