the heartburn may be a complication of the high blood pressure, the high cholesterol, and what might be heart disease.
a treatment for the heartburn may keep her doctors from knowing the extent of the heart disease.
So although she can use OTC remedies (like Maalox) and there are prescription meds ( Nexium, previcid)
the doc treating her needs to know how bad the symptom is, so he/she can best treat her. I’ve been there – trust me on this.
doctors will give you come strong anti acid pills they work great I’ve been on them. try sleeping on your right side its so the shape of the stomach it has a more room to allow the acid to stay in the stomach.
This is something you need to consult a professional on. Some home remidies may do more harm than good.
im not a doctor so im not in any condition to give prescription nor have i tried this medication for the reason that i dont have this problem, but i would recommend pepto bismol for heart burn? For the high cholesterol i recommend she take more HDL (high density cholesterol which is founf in some foods like eggs, omega fatty acids in fish, etc and it helps remove the bad cholesterol that causes heart problem. Resting is a good idea too. I really advice that you seek the help of a doctor because they are more knowledgable and can beter answer this problem. Best of wishes, concerned friend.
Salads, fruit, fresh raw vegetables should lower the cholesterol level.
Safe high blood pressure meds, very low fat diet will help.
If she is getting moisture in the lungs she is probably having back pain with each breath she takes, it is called pleurisy and can be painful, also can cause anxiety, sadness and exhaustion because it is painful to take deep breathes to get oxygen to the brain.
Exercise, stretching and walking will lower the blood pressure and dry out the lungs, try having her do some deep slow breathing exercises.
Does it rain often in Fiji? she may be going through pain and anxiety just before it rains usually.
as stated its not heartburns.she has high bp cholesterol;as well she is in early cardiac failure //otherwise dyspnoea on exertion ii // iii. she should be investigated with her ecg chest x ray / and echo test to assess her cardiac function +blood routene urea and electrolytes and sugar she may require ace inhibitors diuritics hypolipedemic agents +antiplatelet drugs depending on investigations
Halt the heat. Stay away from foods that fuel the flames of heartburn and indigestion. According to research or other evidence, the following self-care steps may be helpful:
